Club Redundo is a global community of people from every industry and background, united by one shared experience: redundancy.
Club Redundo began with a simple idea: no one should face the challenges of a layoff alone. When layoffs happen, they can feel overwhelming, isolating, and disheartening. We’ve been there, and we know what it takes to bounce back stronger.
That’s why we set out to create something more than a job-search resource, we built a supportive, empowering community where people could find the tools, guidance, and coaching they need to find a new career path.
Layoffs are not a new phenomenon; they are part of the natural ebb and flow of the workforce.
Redundancies spike during challenging economic climates, technological advancements, and shifting labour demands. With AI reshaping industries and economic uncertainty ahead, we are entering a period of massive transformation, and with that comes job losses.
At Club Redundo, our mission is simple: we provide the support, resources, and community needed for members to bounce back stronger after a layoff.
We’re here to help talent navigate the uncertainty, offering a network of guidance, tools, and connections that empower them to turn their next chapter into a success story.
Club Redundo supports people facing redundancy by offering professional coaching, a back to work course, community and networking.
Founded by two professionals from the HR and Recruitment space who experienced redundancy themselves, we focus on practical, structured guidance to boost confidence and increase job search success. Our community-driven approach ensures members feel supported, empowered, and ready to take their next steps.
One crisp October morning, freshly laid-off, Georgie and Jack sat on weathered bar stools, overlooking the boardwalk at Coney Island. The air was thick with the salty tang of the ocean and the scent of Nathan’s hot dogs. With no plans other than a cold beer to kick off an unusually early start to the day, they found themselves caught in a moment of quiet reflection.
Over a couple of hotdogs, Jack and Georgie got talking about their experiences. Cut adrift, isolated, lost, uncertain futures. It was difficult to adjust. Why wasn't there a community to help?
Club Redundo was born from a desire to build a new kind of community, a place where people who’ve faced layoffs can find support, understanding, and the tools to find their next gig, whatever it may be.
Get started with the essentials and connect with the community at no cost.

I can’t thank Georgie and Jack at Club Redundo enough for helping me through such a weird and challenging time. Being made redundant for the first time properly threw me, my confidence was low, and I was deep in a “what am I doing with my life?” spiral.
Joining Club Redundo was exactly what I needed. The structure (and accountability!) gave me the push to tackle my job search, and the weekly sessions were invaluable, not just for the practical advice, but for the support and encouragement that stopped me from losing the plot!
Jack and Georgie are a brilliant duo. Super skilled in their fields, but also just lovely, funny, and down-to-earth people who you genuinely will enjoy talking to.
I honestly don’t think I’d have landed my new role without their expertise and support. If you’ve been made redundant and don’t know where to start, do yourself a favour and check out Club Redundo!
Before Club Redundo, my job search felt like yelling into the void, except the void never replied or offered to grab coffee. Then I stumbled across a LinkedIn post and found myself in a virtual room with people from all walks of life, all nodding along to the same job search woes.
Suddenly, I wasn’t just talking to myself (or my dog) about cover letters! The founders, one in England, one in New York, might be separated by an ocean, but together they’ve created the friendliest, most welcoming corner of the internet for jobseekers.
I’ve made connections that will outlast my resume’s “seeking opportunities” status, and I even got to give feedback without anyone muting me. If you’re tired of job searching solo, come join Club Redundo, where you’ll find friends, advice, and maybe even someone who’ll laugh at your “funemployment” jokes.
After being made redundant from my London job in October 2024, I took some time to travel before moving back home to Dublin to dive into the job search.
While I was excited about finding my next opportunity, the job hunt was definitely tough, three months of applications, rejections, and uncertainty really adds up.
That’s when I found Club Redundo. The weekly sessions were full of brilliant people who just got it. They helped me stay motivated, pick up new ideas, and most importantly, feel less alone in it all.
Speaking one-on-one with Georgie, she brought fresh perspective, asked the right questions, and was a really great sounding board.
In April 2025, I landed a new role I’m really excited about—and I’m so grateful for everything Jack, Georgie, and the community created. I’d really recommend getting involved in Club Redundo to anyone navigating the job hunt!
